The Second Season of Netflix's Original 13 Reasons Why was released globally today. While I have mixed feelings about the show's debut season, my thoughts about this one are very precise. It is unnecessary.
13 Reasons Why is definitely popular among today's youth and surely has a tough reason to be. Sexual Harassment is a growing issue of debate and its really satisfying to see youngsters talking about it and acknowledging its existence instead of just hiding away. The debut season of 13 reasons why did a moderately convincing job at educating its young viewers about the consequences of Bullying and Sexual Harassment, in a very inventive way too, arguably. The Season ended on a high note with all records set straight and Hannah Baker seemingly finding justice.
But Season 2 is just an attempt at restarting a popular show and it really throws off an unnecessary vibe. Its Netflix's version of The Matrix: Reloaded. I've just started streaming the show on Netflix and honestly, I still don't understand what they're trying to do with this second season and if its even slightly needed.
